It’s a board game set in a kingdom where humans have been turned into candles by a terrible curse. The kingdom is in chaos and each player will play a faction that has to defend itself against the effects of the curse and simultaneously defeat its enemies. The one who survives will break the curse and become the new king of Candelabria.

The Curse of Candelabria is inspired by boardgames such as Scythe, Blood Rage and Rising Sun, but with unique elements: the possibility to melt candles to unlock new actions; the intertwining of short-term tactics to control territories, and the creation of long-term strategies to contend for regions; finally, the presence of the emanations of the curse that makes the replayability possible.

Each candle card in the game is unique, with personality, and details that refer to the lore and the secrets of the story. The illustrations are done in 4k resolution (and we prepared a wonderful artbook too!)

We hope that you will be able to play and replay The Curse of Candelabria, finding new strategies each time and above all, having more fun with each game.

During the game, each player will control one of these factions and move their wandering castle around the map, which will grow in powers and abilities throughout the game. In addition, you will be able to deploy living candles on the territory (each with a power), and use their flames to increase actions and activate special powers.

At the end of each era there is a combat phase where the conflicts and the majorities are resolved and the points are gained. The goal of the game is to earn more points than the others and became the new king of Candelabria.
